Varun Annadi

Founder & CEO

Product thinking. Accounting experience.

Varun spent the early part of his career shipping products in world-class execution environments — multiple generations of Apple Watch at Apple, a cross-functional AR Glasses program at Google, and product leadership at Noom. He built a reputation for navigating complex technical challenges, managing global partners, and delivering crisp executive communication to Apple's COO and Google VPs.

In parallel, he co-founded SPA Associates, an accounting and financial advisory firm. He helped grow the firm from $0 to $5M+ in revenue and scaled operations to a 70-person organization across the US and India — designing the systems and workflows that made it possible to serve hundreds of small businesses reliably.

After Harvard Business School, Varun founded heva, an AI-native healthcare platform — onboarding 70+ providers, reaching $250K ARR, and raising a $3.1M pre-seed.

Laya brings all of this together: the accounting firm operational expertise, the big-tech product thinking, and the founder experience. It's the firm Varun always wanted to build.

Siva Annadi

Partner & CPA

Tax expertise. Financial judgment.

Siva is a Certified Public Accountant and Partner at Laya. He led SPA Associates as its President, serving more than 1,200 clients across the Greater Detroit area. He brings that practical accounting experience and those longstanding client relationships to Laya.

Before SPA, Siva spent more than 12 years as a Senior Finance Manager at Technosoft. He oversaw reporting and consolidation across multiple subsidiaries, managed a 25-person finance team, and handled payroll for 1,000 employees and tax filings across 30 states.

His background includes accounting studies at Walsh College and completion of the CPA examination. At Laya, Siva brings senior judgment to tax, financial reporting, and the decisions business owners make from their books.

Hari Annadi

Director of Operations

Operational discipline. Reliable delivery.

Hari is Laya’s Director of Operations. He spent two decades at Ford Motor Company leading global quality and operations teams across North America, Europe, Mexico, India, and China. His work involved coordinating large teams and improving the processes behind their delivery.

A certified Master Black Belt, Hari brings a practical approach to process improvement and team leadership. At SPA Associates, he served as Partner and Operations Lead, running day-to-day operations and overseeing more than 2,000 tax returns a year.

At Laya, Hari focuses on how the work gets done: clear ownership, coordinated teams, and a dependable monthly rhythm for clients.
